I loved Bruce Buel's comments in last week's issue regarding the upcoming recall election ("Los Osos to break ground on sewer," News, July 7-14) — "Voters are going to do what voters are going to do." Wow, Bruce, you're a real visionary to figure that one out on your own.
His next statement was even better — "My direction from the board is to proceed as fastly as possible to solve the groundwater issue." What you left out, Bruce, is: "Uh ... no matter what it costs the citizens of Los Osos."
