Man assaulted in SLO

A 19-year-old man was stabbed and beaten while walking through downtown San Luis Obispo on July 20.

At about 9 p.m., Chad Robinson was approached by two male adults dressed in all black while he was walking along Higuera Street, according to the SLO Police Department. One of the men stabbed Robinson in his left side and arm with a knife. Robinson fell to the ground to protect himself, and the other assailant began kicking him in the head and body.

Both men fled and hadn’t yet been located as of press time.

Robinson was taken to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The two suspects were described as white male adults with numerous tattoos on their arms. Police are asking anyone with information to call 781-7317 or 549-STOP.
