Re: “San Luis Obispo County's bicycle obsession

Even worse, outwardly sanctimonious bicycle riders.

Guess what, my household has 3 oft used bicycles. In 51 years of life, until this post, I never once had to tell someone this fact.

And btw, our two vehicles are both driven less than 7500 miles a year and one of them is a PZEV (zero emission).

Where are our prizes (or participation trophies) for using a childs conveyance item without seeking praise? /s

Re: “San Luis Obispo County's bicycle obsession

@Tim Wilkinson

What a crock of chit link.

Non-partisan report my az.

I assure you, this zero emission car driver pays way more in every sort of tax from payroll, to gas, to property and back to utility tax than any effin tree hugging, broke ask bike rider and probably a negative tax paying student in SLO proper.

That report is as believable and non-partisan as any MSM report having to do with fair reporting on anything to do with non-liberal subject matter.

A useless word salad is what that link was that you provided.

Re: “Why the armory is a bad idea for a shelter

Like the rest of America, use your freedom to move along to a better location for your (free loading) lifestyle.

Bleeding hearts sicken us and have ruined our once great state of CA.

Heres how you fix the problem...America needs to bring back PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY in the worst way and apply it to EVERYONE.

No excuses, no sympathy, no remorse. We, the productive and overtaxed, are given no quarter. Thus, turnabout is fare play.

Re: “ICE arrested 20-year-old DACA 'dreamer' outside of SLO County Jail, family claims

Boo hoo.

Don't come to America ILLEGALLY you ILLEGAL INVADER. Problem solved. End of sob story.

No, no puedes!

Btw, I'm an American of hispanic descent, surname and dark skin to match, so save your built in retort of calling me a racist. I'm an an American, standing up for Americans whilst too many of you champion for the wrong side of good.

Re: “Why the armory is a bad idea for a shelter

Like I commented in the appalling "homeless" editorial that was rich in emotion and low on facts (the classic low info progressive formula), the bleeding hearts care not about the taxpayers but simply fixing their bleeding hearts.

Atascadero is full of unwanted, unsavory transient types. STOP enabling them towards our city. Enough!

Re: “Atascadero denies warming shelter at Armory

These newish Atascadero residents say, "REMOVE ALL OF THE HOMELESS FROM ATASCADERO, by any means."

STOP feeding them, STOP sheltering them and GD it, STOP enabling them. We have to see these same useless cretins, day after day, in our neighborhood streets loitering, begging for handouts and/or pushing their unsightly dirty belongings in stolen grocery carts, sometimes with 1 or 2 dogs in tow (that I'm sure are not properly licensed like ours have to be).

When I have guests come in from out of town, instead of talking about what a quaint little town we live in, usually one of the first things out of my guests mouths, is a negative (as it should be) reference to BUMS near us.

The BUMS constant presence angers us high property and sales tax paying residents to no end, while a bunch of (no) good doers do everything in their bleeding heart ways to accommodate these pariah.

I do not make them feel welcome whenever I am within earshot and I'm only getting meaner with my words with these losers that keep us from comfortably letting our mid teenage daughter walk anywhere by herself. We moved here because it was supposed to be a nice, old school safe town. What a big friggen mistake. All aided by the short sighted fools trying to help those that clearly do not wish to be helped outside of taking handouts. If you haven't noticed, there are help wanted signs up nearly everywhere (for menial but honest work).

Re: “'Barrio soul food' at Rosalina heats up Santa Margarita

Just more way overpriced Mexican street food of any other So Cal location south of Ventura.

Some of you need to get out more often beyond SLO. Overpriced does NOT automatically mean good, while very good can be done for a third+ less than $15.00.

This hispanic knows from living in SO CAL, outside of SLO, for all but the last 2 years.
