This delicious French Pinot Noir is a very good value at $19.99 at BevMo! in SLO. Good Burgundies at this price don't come around often. If you prefer big, fruity California Pinots, you may not like this traditional Marsannay. Aromas and flavors of tangy cherry and plums meld nicely with the bold ribbon of herbs and subtle spices that run through it. It's ideal for prime rib, herb-roasted pork tenderloin, or grilled Dijon-rubbed lamb chops. I also enjoyed a glass after dinner, but it's best at the table.
