Pop a top again: BarrelHouse Brewing Company is now serving up its first ever India Pale Lager, which is really quite delicious and perfect for fall food pairings. Instead of asking “what do you want?” it asks, “What does your body need today?” Pick up a hot cup that will aid in digestion, relaxation, detoxing, and focus at this new, relaxing hideaway (eastwellbeing.com; 1238 Monterey St.) … McCarthy’s Irish Pub has lit its famous Christmas tree. Covered in beer cans and mementos, it truly is a sight to behold on a winter night.
