Re: “Hill recall effort on hold, for now

Mr. Burnes, RECALL THIS! As distasteful as Adam Hill seems to his opposition, he and Mr. Gibson are the only two on the board that care enough about "what works best for all of us in the county" to stand up and fight for us! You, on the other hand, seem to want to pander to the teabaggers way of selling us out wholesale to big oil. Go on with your recall effort if you think it will do any good. Let's see who gets recalled first.......

Re: “Enshrining civility

COLAB is the largest problem I've seen at the meetings. Their political scheme to smear Mr. Gibson to the point Progressives need to spend all their money keeping him on the board (as he is the most professional and smartest member) and not having enough to support Mr. Paulding is clear. What a bunch of small town, good old boy BS! We as citizens need to sort through the BS and put good, caring and upstanding people in these powerful positions with our votes. The three teabaggers have done irreparable harm to our county and must be put in check before it is too late. Last thing I want to see is OIL DERRICKS off the coast of Pismo Beach! If we don't do something now, it will happen.

Re: “Re-elect Supervisor Compton, supporting all county citizens

I so can't wait till Lynn Compton is gone and there is a 3-2 majority the other way.....what a bunch of selfish conservative people we have here. No compassion for the other guy.....their motto is to give to the few and take from the many! Jimmy Paulding is educated in planning and is the perfect replacement for Lynn Compton!

Re: “Shame on New Times!

And now another year of the same BS......give to the few while taking from the many! You call that conservatism? I call it partisan politics and it is only good for less than half the people. What the hell happened to our democracy which is set up for ALL THE PEOPLE! These board of supervisors need to be able to have adult conversation and compromise to a consensus on what works best for our entire community. Not happening! So the cartoon is fitting!
