I enjoyed reading your commentary on the inauguration (“He gets us,” Jan. 31). I visited D.C. two years ago for the first time in my life. I’m 51. I long to return soon for a visit. So much untold history there.
When I left to come back to California, I didn’t want to leave. As I got back here, the thought of D.C. just gave me so much exhilaration. I’m joyous Susan Pyburn got to experience the once-in-my-lifetime event.
