Good news to chomp on: Sunset Savor the Central Coast recently won The Nation’s Most Outstanding Food Event award at the sixth annual Taste Awards in Los Angeles, proving that all of that scrumptious food and wine goodness really resonated with attendees in a massive way (for those of you who don’t know, the ceremony is like the Oscars of food and wine events!) … Santa Ynez Winery Kita Wines, known for its blending of traditional and modern winemaking techniques, recently took double gold, silver, and double bronze at the recent San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition (kitawines.com)—awesome! … My personal fave See Canyon Vineyards also took home a dozen medals, too—including double gold for its 2012 The Siren Pinot Noir. Wow! I hope no one is getting too big for their britches.
