On Aug. 16, the Firestone family announced that Firestone Vineyard was acquired by the Foley Wine Group. The sale includes the Firestone Vineyard and Prosperity Wines brands, as well as the Santa Ynez Valley Winery and 480 acres of land including 380 of vineyards. The Firestone family will still hold on to Curtis Winery, Firestone Walker Brewing Company, the new family winery in Paso Robles, the Jarhead Red and Rock Hollow wine brands, and 400 acres in Santa Ynez Valley, including 215 of vineyards.
