The Mee Urgent Care facility in Paso Robles has moved and will reopen its doors on Sept. 24 at the new Mee Medical Pavilion at 416 Spring St. The facility sees patients on a walk-in basis and provides non-emergency care with extended weekday hours and weekends. For more info, call 239-1555.

The SLO County Bicycle Coalition is offering 30 Trek commuter bicycles to applicants who are committed to kicking their car habit and are ready to start biking. The bikes come fully equipped with racks, fenders, a helmet, and other accessories that bring the bikes' value to $1,040. Through the "Bike Forward" program, the Trek 7200s will be offered for $250. It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! The SLO County Farm Bureau is now accepting entry forms for the second annual Giant Pumpkin Contest. SLO's 2-1-1 Hotline is seeking volunteers to answer phones and provide information on services and programs in the county. No experience is necessary, and volunteers must be able to commit four hours a week and be a good listener. SLO 2-1-1 connects people with everything from childcare to senior healthcare.
