Fast facts:

After 28 years in SLO, Rudolph's Coffee & Tea Co. has changed its name to West End Espresso & Tea. Owners Rene Scarnegi and Cathy Bezek said that it was simply time for a change. West End is keeping all of the favorite roasts and pastries, as well as adding a few new items. Look for new Fair Trade and organic beans, new sandwiches, quiches, and the arrival of wireless Internet for customers. The cafe has undergone a bit of a recent facelift, too, but Bezek and Scarnegi insist that the cafe is still home away from home for locals and tourists alike. Stop by West End Espresso & Tea at 670 Higuera St. in SLO. West End is open every day. 6 a.m. till 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, till 8:30 Thursday, till 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and till 6:30 on Sundays. For more info, call 543-4902.
