The Humane Society of the United States is hosting a forum on Friday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to noon in the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors Chambers at 1055 Monterey Street, to discuss Proposition 2, The Prevention of Farm Animal Cruelty Act. Humane Society President and CEO Wayne Pacelle will speak, and a dialogue will be held between proponents and opponents. Supporters of the proposition are urged to attend and voice their opinions, or just come to listen and receive information.
