Also discussed will be learning how to build a client base of people you enjoy working with, the 12 sins of social networking, and the seven mind traps that keep people from getting ahead.
CCWN is celebrating its six-month anniversary of offering nonprofit networking and educational opportunities. The organization is also responsible for the Directory of Women In Business, a comprehensive online directory of woman-owned businesses in San Luis Obispo and North Santa Barbara Counties.
“Whether you’re already a business owner, or an entrepreneur looking to connect with others, CCWN can provide support and help nurture your business,” said CCWN founder Jacky Lopez.
“Secrets of Selling Yourself” will take place at Cafe Roma in San Luis Obispo on Oct. 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $30 for CCWN members, $40 for nonmembers. The price includes dinner. All net proceeds will be donated to the L.I.F.E. Youth Program, a local nonprofit youth development organization. Book online at ccwnetwork.com, or call 439-1013 for more information.
