Mojito fever: You all know I am mojito crazy, right? In honor of my new mint plant, I intend to try a few new spring remixes of the old fave, including melon, fresh ginger, and coconut milk mojito variations (see all the unique recipes I'm trying at ... Sick of those blogs that offer up daunting, complicated recipes you'll never have time (or the patience) to perfect? demystifies everything from wild mushroom pate to rhubarb strawberry soda syrup. Try their obsessively good avocado cucumber salad for a cooling dip perfect for rising temps (and bikini season) ... If you don't have the dough to travel this spring, you can still go to and cook yourself into a worldly, vibrant state of mind (I have my eye on their Mexico City-inspired tacos, which you can find on the home page). Kreuzberg's on-tap kombucha is so addicting I've decided to make my own. Thanks to pickle master/canner dude Stormy T. for sharing his "mother" SCOBY with me. Not sure what that heck means? I am sure I will write about this new adventure soon enough. As always, stay tuned and stay thirsty, my friends ...
