Instead of spending $53 million on a new 37,000 square foot building why doesn't SLO spend that money on more security for Cal Poly campus, even if you have to contract out to a private security company or hire more cops for campus security protector for kids. Our campus needs more security to protect these kids that are paying lots of money to go to school here. Remember those kids bring in revenue to the city and if you don't have those kids in big numbers. You're not going to have big revenue. So you take that $53,0000,000.00 invested in more cops or more security for our campus and let the cops stay in that 18,000 square foot building and eat their donuts and coffee.
