Re: “Hustling for a living: Central Coast residents often work multiple jobs to stay afloat

Add the legalization of weed and now these hardworking multiple job having unemployed masses dont even have the weed black market to fall back on.I have lived on the central coast all of my life and I personally know multiple families that were making ends meet by selling pot.Now these ppl are being forced out of the area because ppl like Helios Dayspring have ruined the weed industry here. SLO is the #1 county for middle classers to move out of in California. Pretty soon it is just going to be extremely wealthy boomers and their illegal workers living here. All of the white middle class will be gone and so will the down home feel of SLO county.

Re: “Welcoming weed: 805 Beach Breaks prepares to open in Grover Beach

Ed Esters one of the three owners of 805 Beach Breaks is a convicted rapist. In 1997, Esters was convicted of drugging, raping and sodomizing a female victim. He was released from prison in 2001.Ed Esters is friends with Helios Dayspring who just held a fundraiser at his home for the progressive queen of SLO Heidi Harmon.

Re: “SLO County looks to remove hurdles for farmworker housing

We need to stop worrying about ILLEGAL ALIENS and start worrying about the people that have lived here for generations. Farm labor can be done by legal citizens. Are we still living in the great depression ? When are we going to start paying farm workers a fair wage? I refuse to believe that if legal citizens picked lettuce the price would be too expensive this is a bullshit excuse. If the government gave farmers incentives to hire locals it could be done. We need to build America not let seasonal laborers export wages out of the country. We Americans dont have the advantage of going to another country to make money. These transient workers come here make money than go home to their home countries and start businesses. This isn't right.

Re: “Tiny houses on wheels: SLO's climate destruction?

The state government regulates automobile emissions, these said automobiles are used to move tiny houses sooo whats the problem?you think tiny houses us a lot of energy?actually they dont , most tiny houses are easy to heat being that they are TINY.The problem with this whole issue is that tiny houses are a bandaid measure to rectify the growing cost of housing.Maybe if the rent prices and house prices where on par with the wages ppl got paid tiny houses wouldnt be a fad. This whole article is utterly ridiculous.
