A little bird has told New Times that the winery has officially donated .64 acres of its prime vineyard that includes the creek and the surrounding area to the County of San Luis Obispo, and has been working with the Upper Salinas-Las Tablas Resource Conservation District and the county’s Department of Environmental Programs to clear the section and plant native water-soaking vegetation.
