Calling all nerds! Captain Nemo Comics can help you celebrate your love of sequential art on Free Comic Book Day with—you guessed it—free comic books.
“Free Comic Book Day is a great event for the whole community,” Raymond Hanson, manager of Captain Nemo Comics, said in press materials. “The variety of stories that are told in modern comics today ensure that readers of all ages can find something appropriate that will stir their imaginations.”
Captain Nemo Comics will be giving away six free comics to everyone who attends the event.
Participants can choose three new-release comics and three back-issue comics. This will be the 15th year that Captain Nemo has celebrated Free Comic Book Day. The fun happens on Saturday, May 7, and is running from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Captain Nemo Comics in San Luis Obispo on Higuera Street. Call 544-NEMO for more information.
