Brady 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Paso Robles

BRADY 2009 CABERNET SAUVIGNON:
  • BRADY 2009 CABERNET SAUVIGNON:

Winemaker Don Brady, who came our way from his home state of Texas to make wine, has been the winemaker at Robert Hall Winery since 2001. During a tasting event last April, he introduced his new label under his surname. I was impressed by this delicious cab that’s made to complement grilled steaks or lamb chops. It’s delightful from start to finish, with upfront aromas and flavors of blackberries, currants, and ripe plums which are nicely nuanced with hints of leather, herbs, and earth. It’s quite drinkable alone but it’s also food friendly. This delicious cabernet sauvignon is well worth finding and available for only $23, a steal for the quality, at Vintage 1255 and Central Coast Wines in SLO or Albertson’s in Paso.
