Textbooks and backpacks and craft beer, oh my: Beat the back-to-school blues with daily “Hoppy” Hour” specials at Eureka!, daily from 3 to 6 p.m., Sunday and Monday from 9 to 11 p.m. and Tuesday through Saturday from 9 p.m. to midnight (try the Oso Buco Riblets with a discounted brew.) … Firestone Walker Brewing Company has released Oaktoberfest, a twist on Bavarian tradition. The seasonal offering, which brewmaster Matt Brynildson calls “mellow and rounded with a gorgeous autumn orange hue” is available Aug. 1. Cheers!
