Coalition: 974 Monterey St. 595-1010. “One M Gee” is an art exhibition featuring seven young local artists with varying styles, from fashion photography to graffiti writing. 

Growing Grounds Downtown Store: 956 Chorro 544-4967. Screening locally produced film, “SLOtheStigma,” and featuring “2010 Opening Minds” art show.

History Center of San Luis Obispo County: 696 Monterey St. 543-0638. Come learn about all that’s new: Wedding Dress exhibit.
Humankind Fair Trade:
982 Monterey 594-1220. Carol Hillygus-Irving portrays the benefits of fair trade through her photos from Ghana, Nepal, and India.

Josephine Crawford Studio: 873 Church (Railroad district) 543-2237. 5-6 p.m. pre-party salon. May Theme: “Art, Commerce, Vodka.” Maps and previews of “Art After Dark.”

Opening Minds 2010 Art Show: 1110 Morro 550-7692. May is Mental Health Month! “Opening Minds,” a community art show.
