I’m for the environment, and what better way to protect it than to keep Diablo Canyon operating until the Big One shuts it down. When that happens, this whole area will be cleared of human beings. Yay! Wilderness again! Farmlands will become wild again. Animals can roam as they like through all the areas paved over by man. Marine animals can live, free from the fear of being caught for food or as collateral damage.
There are already too many people on this planet, and nukes are a great way of getting rid of us. Since radiation is often a slow killer, PG&E won’t have to bear any responsibility, either. A lot of people still think no one died from the Chernobyl or Fukushima accidents. Don’t worry, that’s not true. More than 740,000 people who were involved in the Chernobyl accident died, became invalids, or got seriously ill, but it took 25 years. Tens of thousands of children are born genetically damaged, but there’s no need for that in California, what with today’s diagnostic capabilities and access to abortions. Once again: Fewer people, better world!
