There are so many possibilities that exist now through renewables with storage and new tech coming down the pipeline. Nuclear is basically clean, except when it's not! Then, devastation. Diablo was built on a faultline and has cost us nothing but $$$$$$$, from the beginning when it had to be RE built and now the decommissioning. Why do people hold on so tight to coal and nuclear as if their life depends on it when there are other options?

LOL is this guy for real?? He doesn't even grasp that PG&E is not going away and that the whole pricing model for MBCP is a savings compared to PG&E and he feels informed enough to write an opinion piece about it? The community choice energy movement came long before the PG&E bk and "crisis" he is referring to, as well. I'm surprised he didn't say they are also after his guns!

I wish the California ... Public Utilities ... Commission acted more like the California Public ... Utilities Commission - for the public, instead of for the public utilities.

How heartbreaking, no one should be subject to living in conditions like this. Mold is devastating to the health and wellness of people young and old. Thank you for bringing more attention to this ongoing problem.

I've had some though conversations with family and friends who don't even realize they're part of the problem. This discomfort needs to happen along with reflection, realization and real change.
