It saddens me that the public is unaware of the "inequity" adjustments given to management, positions that were not vacant, yet after a 5% bump in "inequity" pay some heath/social service workers are still 20% under market, with many positions vacant. There is a posting for a job that will essentially figure out how to retain and fill positions the county is having trouble with. It pays between $30-$36/hour. Maybe the Board of Supervisor's should revisit the way they adjust "inequity" pay!!! It's not rocket science...just saying.
