Re: “Deep clean: PG&E needs to dredge Diablo Canyon's cove to unclog the intake system that helps the nuclear reactors stay cool

Seems to me PG&E just gets to do whatever the heck it wants forever. Nevermind the destruction of ocean life. Nevermind the increase infant mortality in Avila Beach and the cancer rate surrounding Diablo. This plant just gets to keep on operating no matter how decrepit it is. The only thing green about nuclear energy are the toxic algae blooms!

Re: “I like fossil fuels and nuclear power

And while I am here, I have more studies about nuclear energy to share.

Nuclear power plants cause cancer and here are a bunch of studies to prove it.

Re: “I like fossil fuels and nuclear power

I am 100 percent for a renewable energy future. I am not going to cry about fossil fuels though because I drive a vehicle and this would make me a hypocrite. I also know that our reality is that smart meters would be a major part of a 100% renewable future. Between those and the cell towers, my ears are ringing 24-7. I wish that we could all just team up and create our own neighborhood minigrids that would be able to operate without the " internet of things" and all of these signals bouncing everywhere.
I would love for fossil fuels to disappear. In fact, I would rather go back to the caveman days than see our poor ocean tortured any further. But what happens when you're too outspoken about these issues is somebody in a big white van drives by and EMPs your house. So I am going to drive my fossil fuel eating car as little as possible and share a link about renewables
http://reneweconomy.com.au/dispelling-the-nuclear-baseload-myth-nothing-renewables-cant-do-better-94486/

And then some more about why nuclear is not a good idea
http://www.ianfairlie.org/news/childhood-leukemias-near-nuclear-power-stations-new-article/
Because nuclear energy causes leukemia! That's all you need to know about it to dislike it.

Thank you.
