NTMA Schedule 

Friday, November 3rd, 2017 at the Fremont Theater at 1025 Monterey Street in San Luis Obispo! Doors open at 6pm, show starts at 7pm.

Come see great local bands Wordsauce, TROPO, The Tipsy Gypsies, 33RPM, and The Creston Line duke it out for the title of Best Live Performance!

We will also have performances from the Bucket Busters, and Amalia Fleming who represents our new Youth category.

Winners of the songwriting and best album categories, as well as runners-up in the genre categories, and Readers Choice, will receive their awards that same evening.

All told, seven Newtie Awards will be presented. These stunning awards are handcast from Peace Bronze, metal reclaimed and recycled from decommissioned weapons systems. Second and Third place finishers in the five genres, songwriting, and album categories will receive specially-designed plaques.

Tickets are $10 each and are available at the New Times office at 1010 Marsh Street in SLO, at the Sun office at 2540 Skyway Dr. Ste. A in Santa Maria, or online at Active military and veterans get in for free.
