Re: “Cal Poly showcases local poet Michael Hannon in Pilgrim's Process

I am proud to call this man my Brother-in-law. He maybe doesn't know it, but much of his work has inspired me and given this old woodworking Norwegian direction.

I have a feeling that these two women love the smell of their own farts.

Re: “Indie folk singer-songwriter Gregory Alan Isakov brings his intimate songs to the Fremont Theater on Oct.13

So, why would Julia Bayless support the Republican cause if she is truly against the abuse of women? It is not true the there are a number of women who accuse the Preseident of sexual assault?

Re: “Arroyo Grande artist Mark Bryan satirizes Trump presidency

I like Trump. He has done a lot for the middle class. Cut taxes, repatriated money of large corporations, lowered unemployment, renegotiated treaties in our favor, and if Q is to believed is cleaning up corruption in Washington. I was a Democrat for 40 years till they tilted way to the left and started using infantile, hate filled and divisive rhetoric about everything. With 700 'elite' padding the Democratic party vote, have fun getting your say. Just ask Bernie voters how they feel.

Cunningham supports trophy hunting. He will never have my vote.

Re: “Arroyo Grande artist Mark Bryan satirizes Trump presidency

Ok, anti Trump sentiment is pretty meaningless and milquetoast, especially here on the well padded self centered coast. However I do like how in the first image how he equates communism with capitalism. I totally agree with that comparison and it's rare to see that kind of deeper analysis from your basic pro establishment boomer tier artwork. Kudos to the artist on that one.
Cheers!

Re: “Arroyo Grande artist Mark Bryan satirizes Trump presidency

I would happily hang both these up right in my living room; I had to listen to eight years of moaning, screaming, and tantrums from the right as Obama and the left tried and successfully rebuilt this country from the conservative caused crash. They can handle a few unflattering paintings of their orange Mussolini.

Do you have digital prints for sale?

Re: “'Fahrenheit 11/9' is an entertaining albeit jumbled attack on President Trump

Trump is dog shit & there's no need to be "fair" when exposing & attacking him. Today's republican party is a nihilistic cult more than a political movement, so there is no reason for any filmmaker or pundit to give "both sides" a fair hearing. There are no normal two sides now,. There is a very flawed but civilized liberalism on one hand while on the other is a demonic cult dedicated to radical evil , the destruction of the country & all human decency.

Re: “Local artists support Measure G

Add a beautiful piece of art to your home, what better way to make-a-donation to the "YES on G" effort.

The Collection: Artists from San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties have donated their stunning art in support of the SLO effort to pass Measure G. The collection started while seeking donations for a silent auction. San Luis Obispo landscape painter Marcia Burtt offered to not only donate her art, but to reach out to her contemporary artists and friends and ask for their involvement.

In a matter of weeks, the collection has grown to over fourteen artists and over fifty unique works. Donated works include originals from several artists and signed giclee prints from those who typically wont sell their work as prints, making these giclee prints a rare and unique opportunity.

Re: “'White Boy Rick' is the story of an unlikely drug dealer who works for the FBI

"Detroit media coverage of the story of Richard Wershe, Jr., better known to the public as White Boy Rick thanks to relentless media use of that nickname, has been deplorable, shoddy and often wrong for close to 30 years. The inexcusable erroneous reporting calling him a drug lord and kingpin is one of the reasons Wershe has been in prison since age 18. Detroit's news media owes it to this man to finally tell his story correctly." http://www.thedimedroppers.com/2015/09/a-media-smear-that-has-lasted-nearly-30.html

Re: “A trip home: Visiting the Bay Area triggers nostalgia, but also affirmation

It's sad to see San Luis Obispo following in the footsteps of the Bay Area in its decision-making around housing regulations.
