Save Atascadero from socialist tree huggers 

While the summer heat may soon be over in Atascadero, politically things are heating up locally. The anti Wal-Mart haters continue to spew their propaganda manure and it really stinks! These self appointed “saviors” of Atascadero want to dictate to the good people of our city where to shop or not to shop for groceries and other items.

Recently I decided to talk to different residents on the north end of town and was glad to hear that eight out of ten residents of this area can hardly wait to be able to shop at a future Wal-Mart for groceries, appliances, clothes, etc.

On Nov. 4 we call on all sensible residents of Atascadero to vote No on Measure D-08. Let it be dead on arrival! Do not allow a vocal angry minority of self-serving Berkeley types to take over our troubled city. They are not only misguided, but their lack of vision for our town will result in less revenue for our police and fire department services, less jobs, and bigger holes in our streets and sidewalks. Oh yes, there will be higher taxes in the near future for all of us.

Save Atascadero from the socialist tree-huggers who appear bent on destroying and preventing future businesses that might want to invest in our city. Say no to these joyless mean-spirited folks. Vote No on Measure D-08 on Nov. 4. Save Atascadero from the whales and snail lovers. The way to go is “Vote No on D-08.”
