Regarding the cartoon by Russell Hodin about the Gaza flotilla raid (June 10): Good timing—between Hodin and another ugly, Helen Thomas, I have a “clear” picture of the far- left stance on the Middle East.
How has the left’s view become so upside-down? Incompetence is now competence; below-average performance is now above average; immorality as fostered by the lower elements in society is the new standard for behavior; Israel is looked down upon and the Arabs are the “good guys”. A president is apologizing for our previous, many times self-sacrifices for western civilization. It’s bizarro world.
