For all of you who feel safe with your health care coverage now, think about your future trip to the emergency room and having to wait, literally, more than 24 hours to see a doctor because of all the people who can’t afford to see a doctor until it becomes an emergency. Think about the next time your company needs to negotiate its contract with your provider and passes along the stiff increase, because the insurance companies will have complete control and abuse it, as they have done in the past. Think about the lack of control over drug prices in the pharmaceutical market and the enormous bill that life saving medication will eventually cost you. Yes folks, it will impact everyone in a very dangerous and negative way. It will cause many lives to be lost who can’t afford the care—and yes, very possibly yours.
