Preserve the little bit of rural country left

Huasna Valley, Arroyo Grande

How can a permit be issued to Excelaron with all the Class I, non-mitigated impacts on the DEIR?

This is an agricultural/residential area, not uninhabited open space. This project will impact everything.

Oil spills and wildfires are unavoidable impacts, and they will happen, and there is no going back to “pristine” after they occur. We need to preserve what little bit of rural country that is left in this county.

As a resident of the Huasna Valley, I am very upset that the planning department would even consider a permit with such high impacts to residents, wildlife, vegetation, agricultural resources, air quality, water, quiet, property values, and scenic vistas.

Don’t let this happen to our beautiful valley.
