City planners should pay attention to Texas floods 

Recent rains and flooding have caused some three dozen deaths, hundreds of homes lost, and great infrastructure damage in Texas and Oklahoma.

Floods occur in floodplains: We seem to never remember this.

I hope the SLO City Council takes this latest tragic example to heart when considering further development in the Prefumo/San Luis Creek floodplain.
