Successful technocrats, video-game tycoons, and driven workaholics, pay attention. There's a new service in town that aims to improve the one aspect of your social life you've been hesitant to develop: pursuing a relationship of the female persuasion.

# Courtship Coaching of San Luis Obispo is intended for successful professional men of any age and seeks to help those who just can't seem to hit it off with the ladies no matter what they try or, as the service's founder puts it, "men who have trouble marketing themselves successfully."

For Courtship Coaching's creator, who'll be referred to as "B" for reasons of privacy and client discretion, success in dating is simply a matter of learning and applying a few basic sales and marketing fundamentals.

An 18-year veteran of sales and marketing and a lifelong bachelor/reformed "commitment-phobe," B said that a successful background has been helpful when applied to courting because the approach is in the pitch.

"I've always been very analytical, so I'm able to help guys figure out what works and what doesn't work in developing strategies that will help them in their approach," B said. "And that is my ultimate goal here: to help guys successfully approach women and, like in sales, not be afraid to fail once in a while."

Overcoming a fear of rejection is the biggest hurdle his clients have to make, he said. But, according to B, that obstacle can easily be surpassed when his clients realize their potential.

"Most successful men who have trouble meeting women they're attracted to is because they feel they don't have anything to offer," B explained. "Yet what they don't realize is that if they are truly genuine, hard-working, successful, nice-guys, then they have a huge advantage over the rest of the competition. It just takes confidence and the right communication skills."

To help struggling males get into the game, Courtship Coaching offers several programs designed to help nurture approach, attitude, and language. In addition, several "field exercises," which include romps to bars, restaurants, and parties social gatherings tailored to specific tastes give clients the opportunity to apply their new courtship skills in the company of a courtship counselor.

Courtship Coaching intends to help struggling men meet potential mates, however if the client's intention is a mere hook-up, a one-night stand, or straight-up pimping, B suggests seeking service elsewhere.

"To clarify, my intention is not to get guys in bed with girls or even to get them into a relationship," B said. "My intention is simply to coach nice guys in skills, attitude, technique, and empower them with the courage to meet women and get noticed."
