NEW TIMES How will the Cambria Art and Wine Festival outdo itself this year?
MCKARNEY Every year we’ve had a wide assortment of different wineries of the Central Coast come to our event and showcase what they’ve been working so hard on. This year, we’ll be having the most wineries ever to offer their delectable bottles for everyone to sample and take home.
NEW TIMES Who will be showing off their wines this year?
MCKARNEY We have over 25 wineries this year—some include Lone Madrone, Maddalena’s, Harmony Cellars, Vina Robles, and Black Hand Cellars, just to name a few.
NEW TIMES What events will you be hosting this year?
MCKARNEY Technically the Cambria Art and Wine Festival starts Friday, the 28th of January. We usually host a kickoff party, and this year is no exception. However, with the ever-growing popularity of this event, we’ve already sold out of all the tickets for Friday’s festivities. But don’t fret! We have tickets available for Saturday and Sunday, and we have plenty of activities available. Saturday at the Veteran’s Hall, we’ll be hosting a silent auction of some local artists’ work. Many wineries throughout the area will be hosting special events, including food and wine pairings, and making our own wine labels. Tickets for the festival start at $25 and include a chance to win raffle prizes, a wine glass, and eight tastings. Please visit our website at cambriaartwine.com in order to find more contact information for the wineries and what kind of events they’ll be hosting. ∆
