The Adopt-A-Beach Program is looking for volunteers to adopt beaches from Los Osos to the San Luis Obispo County line in Big Sur. Volunteers for the Adopt-A-Beach Program commit to cleaning up their beach at least three times a year in an effort to keep California's beaches beautiful. KPS4Parents Inc., a nonprofit organization devoted to advocating for the appropriate and compliant delivery of special education and related services to eligible students, recently launched a website: www.slocoesdc.info. KPS4Parents Inc. hopes having the website will enable parents to find a variety of resources for their special needs children. The organization provides parent education and community outreach programs, consulting services to families and public agencies, lay advocacy representation of special needs children and their families, and paralegal support to attorneys representing special education students in litigation pertaining to their special education needs.
