F. McLintocks is holding its 26th annual Pearl Harbor survivors luncheon at Steamers in Pismo Beach on Dec. 7 at noon. The event pays homage to local survivors on the anniversary of the attack, and gives them a chance to swap stories about the historic event. Silverado Stages has launched a new luxury commuter bus line that takes passengers from three locations in San Luis Obispo County and Santa Maria to LAX, San Pedro, and Long Beach for $49. The Coast Flyer makes three trips up and down the coast every day. The trip from SLO to LAX takes about four hours in a luxury Euro-style shuttle. Every coach has satellite TV and XM radio, and plush high-back seating. Reservations are required. Silverado Shuttles' mechanic, Aron Clark, has also been named the "Outstanding Maintenance Technician of the Year" by the California Bus Association.
