Juicy news: JUSTIN Vineyard and Winery in Paso Robles has been named as Winery of the Year by Wine Enthusiast! To celebrate, why not grab a table at the Restaurant at JUSTIN and sip on a little Isosceles? (Visit the tasting room and restaurant at 11680 Chimney Rock Road, Paso Robles) … Speaking of wine awards, Wine Spectator will unveil its Top 10 wines of 2015 soon, so you can bet more good news for the area is on the horizon … Filliponi Ranch has been making wine since 2008, but they are looking fresh lately. The winery recently completed renovations on their tasting room, which is celebrating a grand re-opening all November long. Stop by and you could win a bunch of prizes, including barrel tasting with the winemaker, guided hiking and tasting tour of the ranch, a fireside wine dinner, and more. The tasting room, aka “the little yellow house” is located at 1800 Calle Joaquin in SLO and open Thursday through Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. … Luna Red is hosting prix fixe November Harvest dinners each Monday featuring local farmers and winemakers.
