I love this elegant Rosé, a saignée of Grenache, by the renowned founder of the Wine Cask in Santa Barbara, Doug Margerum. Delicious and refreshing, with none of the unbearable sweetness of cheap Rosé, this one’s for impressing your friends. Upfront flavors of strawberries, cherries, cranberries, and nuances of spice, with beautiful balance, this will be hard to resist. But it’s great at the table with lighter fish, crab, shrimp, or roasted herb chicken. In SLO County, Tastes of the Valleys Pismo Beach sells it for $22 retail, value-priced for the quality.
