It is what it is. It’s a sentiment that Los Osos artist Mark Selby brings to his work as he strives to re-interpet a three-dimensional world into a two-dimensional art form.
A sampling of Selby’s plein air watercolor paintings, Watercolors from Life, is currently on display at Linnaea’s Café in San Luis Obispo through March 26. All of Selby’s paintings in the show are from the last two years and feature local spots like the Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa. Visit linnaeas.com for more art and music events.
