Actress Lindsay Lohan is scheduled to be in San Luis Obispo next month to play a college student abducted by a notorious serial killer in the thriller I Know Who Killed Me.
Lohan, who played Cady Heron in Mean Girls, will potentially be working alongside thousands of locals. Cameo Casting Services in San Luis Obispo plans to announce the dates for casting calls within the next few days. There are a number of speaking parts available, including roles for local young women to play Lohan's character's cohorts.
"We need 500 to 1,000 extras for the football scene, plus cheerleaders and football players," said Christine Reynolds with Cameo Casting Services. "Some positions are unpaid, but there will be raffles for iPods and other gifts for extras. Search dogs and older actors are also needed for the search scene."
In the movie, SLO will be dubbed New Salem, a small, junior-college town. The football scene is slated to be shot at San Luis Obispo High School stadium, with other scenes to be filmed throughout the city.
