Tickets for the Clark Center’s 2010-2011 season go on sale to Association members on July 1. For information about joining the Association visit clarkcenter.org or call 489-4196. Tickets will be available to the general public on Aug. 1.
The season begins on Sept. 12 with a performance by country music singer Darryl Worley. Season highlights include country singer Carlene Carter, daughter of June Carter Cash and Carl Smith, stepdaughter to Johnny Cash performing on Oct. 1; folk singer Judy Collins on Oct. 14; the antics of 15 cats, 10 dogs, eight doves, four geese, and two parrots that comprise World Famous Popovich Comedy Pet Theatre on Jan. 16; on March 7 a musical based on William Shakespeare’s The Twelfth Night, called All Shook Up; and singer and guitarist Leon Redbone on April 29.
Other performers include JIGU! Thunder Drums of China, Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy: Masters of the Fiddle, A Rita Coolidge Christmas, The Peking Acrobats, The Damon Castillo Band, The 35th Annual San Francisco Stand-Up Comedy Competition, Direct from Vegas—The Rat Pack, and Take Me Home: The Music of John Denver.
