For fifteen years, Kirk Henning has told his lively and unique, “Stories ‘Round the Fire,” a series of storytelling performances featuring Henning along with guest storytellers and musicians. The popular performances are fun for the entire family and include stories and songs from around the world told around a campfire, followed by a marshmallow roast.
As a storyteller, Kirk Henning has shared the world of stories with audiences at schools, libraries, bookstores and festivals throughout California. With his vivacious style, Kirk’s collection of personal stories and folktales excite the imaginations of young and old alike, with such characters as Jack, Br’er Rabbit, Petit Jean, and the Phantom Duck rise up and enter the landscape of our minds.
