About:
reese galido cut her teeth singing show tunes for audiences as early as six years old and even then she knew this was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. now, granted, those first few shows were attended solely by her family, but hey, a girl’s got to start somewhere. after twelve years of classical piano training, she inherited her first guitar at seventeen and spurred on by personal tragedy, she found a voice in songs of her own creation – she sings of love, loss, hope, and the stories we all collect along the way that make us who we are. the trio formed in 2011 in san luis obispo, california where reese met michael clair and justin martinez. “there was this unspoken agreement from the get go that we needed to play music together,” reese will say, “those first few conversations cemented the fact that we had the same kind of appreciation of music that is just hard to find everyday.” from living rooms to gigging at larger venues, the trio strives to bring their take of what a love song should sound like.
