Weekly Poll
Should the Arroyo Grande Cemetery start watering its grass again?

Yes. It looks ugly and that's disrespectful to the families who come there to mourn.
They should water it a little more, but stay mindful of the state's drought.
No they need to find an alternative like dryscaping.
Leave it as is. Saving water is more important than aesthetics.

Oh My Land

A Hole In The Hull: Listen!
Shadow, My Lover: Listen!
The Rewards: Listen!
Music Genre: Rock
Located: San Luis Obispo
Oh My Land are a dynamic group of musicians channeling the spirit of turn-of-the-century indie-rock. The San Luis Obispo, CA natives draw their inspiration from the genre’s many pioneers; Arcade Fire, Conor Oberst, Modest Mouse, The Decemberists, and The Good Life to name a few. From fantastically optimistic to somber and downright hopeless, the band’s always theatrical sound serves as a backdrop for a tangled web of imaginative characters and plots. Though front man Patrick Patton dons the songwriting hat, the band divvies up vocal duty between Patton and the band’s two front women, synth player Andrea Patton, and keyboardist Rachel Coons. Bass guitarist Joshua Grant, drummer Matt Preston, and Violinist Jonathan Sorbello round out the band’s unique sound.
