Delilah and her gendarmes, John Cribb, piano and Wayne Gamble,mandolin, guitar and bass will be performing at the Steynberg Gallery in SLO Sat August 28, 8 pm
Delilah is well known among the theatrical crowd for her recent spring performances as Ava Gardner in SLOLT Legend's 'Swingin with Sinatra', and as Fraulein Schneider in Unity's 'Cabaret'. Delilah sang professionally in NYC, SF, Canada, Japan, and the Phillippines with her own cabaret act. SLO side she has revisited her cabaret roots with the music of Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel,Kurt Weill, and Stephen Sondheim. On keyboards is the versatile John Cribb, well known pianist, organist, accompanist and music director for many theatrical productions. Wayne Gamble,multi talented instrumentalist and composer,is a Central Coast native. He rounds out the group on mandolin, guitar and bass. Wayne is the band director at Mesa Middle School in Arroyo Grande. The group just returned from the Santa Barbara French Festival, followed by a SLO Museum of Art concert. Previous appearances have been at the Coalesce Bookstore and the Brickyard Playhouse. Cambria audiences too well remember stints at the Pewter Plough Playhouse.
