Panga Boat Bust 9/6

Weekly Poll
Can the Central Coast sustain nearly 20 breweries?

If we can float hundreds of wineries, why not?
I'm sticking with my Pabst, thank you very much.
I hope not. SLO County's already got a drinking problem.
That's just drunk talk. Sweet, sweet drunk talk.

Thanks for all the help after the accident

Atascadero

Melissa Ziering

My husband, daughter, and I were in a car accident on Sunday, March 3, at 12:30 in the afternoon on Hwy. 41 near Morro Bay.

I would like to articulate my heartfelt and sincere gratitude to all who helped us. First, I would like to thank the EMTs who assessed us and made sure that we were all OK. You were all very kind and helpful. I am truly grateful.

I want to extend my gratitude to the firemen (including the off-duty fireman who stopped). You all did an amazing job of making us feel safe after such a traumatic event. I especially appreciate how sweet you all were to my daughter. Thank you to all the firemen for the outstanding work you all do.

I would like to thank the CHP officer who offered his service to us. He was very considerate and professional.

I would like to extend a very big thank you to the people who stopped and helped seconds after we crashed. It was so comforting to have so many people stop and make sure we were all OK.

A humble thanks to the lady who gave our daughter a juice and Goldfish crackers and napkins.

Finally, thanks to the folks who let me wash my hand in your sink; sorry about your fence.
