The San Luis Obispo Farmers Market takes place every Thursday from 6-9pm on Higuera St. between Osos and Nipomo and includes over 120 vendors of produce, dairy, barbecue, flowers, and more.

The Dunes Center is looking for individuals who would like to make a difference in their community by sharing information about nature. If you are interested in leading groups of students or adults through our local dunes with the Dunes Center, then come join us to learn how. The Dunes Center is holding a training day for all current and prospective docents. Ideal docent candidates will have a desire to share our wonderful natural and cultural heritage with visitors and encourage community stewardship of the dunes. Meet our experienced docents who will be sharing their experiences and knowledge with anyone potentially interested in volunteering with the Dunes Center. May 23.
