The San Luis Obispo Farmers Market takes place every Thursday from 6-9pm on Higuera St. between Osos and Nipomo and includes over 120 vendors of produce, dairy, barbecue, flowers, and more.

On display through August, this national juried exhibit is bringing some amazing talent to San Luis Obispo. Artists from the East coast to the West coast have been selected to show their best encaustic work.

In a relaxed, social setting, our resident artists will guide you through replicating the nights chosen painting, through Aug. 17. Wine, beer and charcuterie service available. The $40 fee includes canvas, paints, instruction, and a cocktail.

Boys and Girls ages 5 -10 can have fun and gain important life skills at these empowering martial art classes. Parents and children are welcome to come observe a class.
REVERSE RAINBOW VOLCANO

Experiential program to guide and empower parents, through Aug. 16. Learn solutions and effective strategies with the help of horses. Establish leadership, engage cooperation, and communicate openly in a supportive environment. Horse experience not required.

HOSPICE VOLUNTEER TRAINING

Hospice training equips community members to provide once-a-week respite care, emotional support, and practical help for families coping with a life-threatening illness. Six week class through Aug. 26; open to the public.
