The Food Bank solicits, warehouses, and distributes large-scale food donations to more than 225 non-profit agency partners and directly through our food assistance programs. The Food Bank can also help you find a drop site if you are looking to make an individual donation. Volunteer opportunities are also available.

WOODS HUMANE SOCIETY
(Woods opens Mon. through Sat. at 10 a.m.)
Woods Humane Society protects and shelters homeless companion animals, places animals into humane environments, promotes responsible pet ownership, provides humane education, and reduces animal overpopulation. They have beautiful animals up for adoption, camps for kids, fund-raising events, volunteer opportunities, and educational programs for the community. For more info on the various services Woods offers and a full calendar of events, contact the society. Their Quicky car wash fundraiser runs May 1-31.

This presentation on May 4 is open to parents, foster parents, and grandparents with a child or teen who struggles with attention, behavior, communication, or learning. The keynote speaker will be Karyn Lutes. Free with either a $5 donation to Jack's Helping hand or 5 cans of non-perishable food items for the SLO Food Bank.
