The Food Bank solicits, warehouses, and distributes large-scale food donations to more than 225 non-profit agency partners and directly through our food assistance programs. The Food Bank can also help you find a drop site if you are looking to make an individual donation. Volunteer opportunities are also available.

WOODS HUMANE SOCIETY
(Woods opens Mon. through Sat. at 10 a.m.)
Woods Humane Society protects and shelters homeless companion animals, places animals into humane environments, promotes responsible pet ownership, provides humane education, and reduces animal overpopulation. They have beautiful animals up for adoption, camps for kids, fund-raising events, volunteer opportunities, and educational programs for the community. For more info on the various services Woods offers and a full calendar of events, contact the society. Their Quicky car wash fundraiser runs May 1-31.

The Wellness Kitchen and Resource Center hosts The Soul Kitchen by night. We invite you to support our non-profit programs through our monthly fundraiser. Join us for an evening filled with music, wine, food, and laughter, with local band, Jan and Ted, wine tasting by Broken Earth Winery, and food provided by The Wellness Kitchen. All proceeds benefit The Wellness Kitchen and Resource Center to further their food programs including organic, dairy-free, gluten-free Healing Foods for those in critical need and for individuals wanting to regain optimal health. The Kitchen also provides hands-on cooking classes, and nutrition education programs throughout SLO County. May 30.
